Of German nationality, but moved a lot in my youth and don't think of any specific place in Germany as being my home. But if I had to choose, it would be Cologne.

Always wanted to live in France, which I've been doing for the last years. France is also home to my favorite place ever, the Provence region. People are more laid back and the food is terrific and often goes without any meat all, which meets my taste. But don’t start calling me a vegetarian, which I’m not. If I had to tell you favorite dish, it would include camembert, dark bread, tapenades, olives and red wine either on our terrace or at my preferred vacation place. Weird things I like? Licorice.

Besides being the political Editor at eurOut, I’ve got a day job which includes “something with IT”. I’m an avid reader, mostly crime/thriller novels in English, tv-junkie, music-lover, like photography and many things more.
My favorite moments include having my morning coffee on the terrace when everybody else is still asleep, which happens often enough, as I’ve always had trouble sleeping.
