They see each other again at school, where Naomi is being all rude and distant. Emily let’s Naomi know she got the message and she’ll manage. She still made her some flyers though to win student president. Ahhh. Naomi clearly doesn’t deserve a girl like that chasing her.

Then there’s a bunch of student president stuff we don’t care about, only that it ends with Naomi running of crying to her political teacher. She asks him why is he so nice when all other men are wankers and he responds by trying to kiss her. She runs home and cries some more in her bedroom, not even caring about the cute little note Emily left in her bed. She crumbles it, then uncrumbles it again. It reads, “Emily slept here” with a smiley face. How cute. She falls asleep and wakes up the next morning with the note stuck to her face and it has left a clear imprint on her cheek.

She phones Emily and asks her if she wants to hang out. They go for a bike ride together and Emily shows Naomi her favourite spot, which is this nice lake in the middle of nowhere. Emily wants to go skinny-dipping, but Naomi is afraid someone will come and look. For encouragement Emily tells Naomi, “Honey, your body ain’t that special”. I love how Naomi doesn’t even take offense. They jump in the lake in their underwear anyway, so it’s not like they are doing anything that risky.

After they are done swimming they make a campfire, open a bottle of booze and light a joint. Ah, life as a British teenager sure is sweet. Speaking of sweet, Emily grabs Naomi’s hand and they just sit there until Emily suggests they do blowbacks. Of course, blowbacks lead to kissing, but this time it’s Naomi who is making the first move. The kissing quickly turns into having sex and it’s all very cute and equally hot.

I'll remember that for my next recap.

An entire school got trashed by the students without anyone stopping them (I left that part out of the recap) and you girls wonder how realistic the skinny dipping was? ;-)

Le sigh! I watched it on sunday after stumbling across it on After Ellen's BLWE and after two weeks of 24/7 working and feeling like a f*** adult and it vaulted me right back to puberty. Almost as intense as "Fucking Amal"/"Show me love". And apart from the riot a rather realistic portrait of growing-up.

I'm quite curious how they develop the storyline. Do they make Naomily a happy couple? Or is Naomi indeed gay (or bi) but nonetheless not really in love with Emily? That would be a twist I haven't yet seen on TV.

Enjoying making out with someone and not feeling lonely with her/him is not necessarily enough and Naomi seems hesitant at the end  ... I'm really curious how they solve the cat flap scene.

I watched all the Emily/Naomi scenes and found that I liked the feel of the show and so watched everything. Have to say, its a nice show overall, Emily and Noami just make it better then nice.

They are so cute and so appealing. If only they had a show just about them 2, like 'South of Nowhere', that would be a winner.

I just saw all the Emily/Naomi-parts on youtube. I think it's a really, really cute story. A little sad too, though. But eh, that's teenage love for you.

(I thought Naomily istantly too. d: )
