Haircuts and hairy moments: Coronation Street recap - March 10 through 14

Last time we mentioned our little lesbionic couple were arguing. Well, to be fair, Sophie was being a bitch to Sian and Sian stood back and let her. Hopefully this week all will be just peachy and the couple will get their happily ever after, right? Erm, try again...

10^th March
Sally surprises everyone by getting a makeover and cutting her hair, to match her new life separated from Kevin. (Actress Sally Dynevor finally gets rid of the wig that she’s been wearing since having cancer and rocks her new cropped blonde style amazingly.)

Kevin tells her that he’s sold the house to one of their neighbours so that they know who’s getting it. Sally agrees that it’s the best she could have hoped for, and starts looking for somewhere for her and Sophie to live. When Sophie finds out about it, she goes in a stinker of a mood and takes it out on Sian, as usual. She decides that they should get a place together and she’ll work while Sian finishes her studies. Understandably, Sian isn’t too keen on the idea and says nothing, but leaves for college while Sophie looks at letting agencies online.

Sophie ends up looking through Sian’s profile on Facebook and through her holiday photos of her and Chloe. Enter the green-eyed monster! When Sian comes to visit Sophie after college, Sophie pulls a strop and accuses Sian of seeing Chloe being her back. She thinks that’s the reason she doesn’t want to get a place together. Sian tells her she doesn’t want to get a place together yet because it’s a pipedream that’d end up with a bedsit instead of a nice flat.

Sophie continues to think Sian’s cheating on her and when Sian says that she’s not seeing Chloe but if Sophie carries on the way she is... Sophie cuts off her girlfriend and says she’s just about admitted it and tells her to go. Sian tells her she can’t be serious, and Sophie tells her she is: “Go!” Sian storms out and bangs the doors after telling Sophie that she’s “so going to regret this”.
