Last week Sally found out about Sophie skipping college after Sian was fed-up watching her girlfriend mess her life up. Let’s see if Sian’s decision in telling Sally has helped any...

10th February
While Random Rosie’s having a rant at Jason and her dad about Alfie, her modelling agent, who fired her for not taking a topless job, Sophie walks past them followed by Sian. When Kevin notices Sophie’s face, he asks what’s wrong and Sian tells him she’s had a falling out with the Principal at college. When Kevin asks what about, Sian tells him he really should ask her, but just then Random Rosie hogs the limelight again and goes all ‘drama queen’ on Kevin, making him forget about Sophie. Hurt and disappointed, Sophie walks on.

Kevin goes to find Sally to tell her about Sophie being upset, but she’s off on a date. When she returns, he tells her to find the girls and talk to them.

Sally has Sophie sat in the living room and insists she tell her what has happened. Sophie begins to tell her mum about her principal, when her sister barges through the door, moaning about her agent dumping her, and walking to the kitchen so that Sally has to follow. Sophie sits in the chair and listens to her mum and sister for a while, then stands up and softly says: “Thanks for the chat”, and leaves the room.

Random Rosie keeps going on about her drama and Sally turns to look at Sophie, but she’s too late.

11th February – Part 1
Sally asks Sophie what the problems with her principal are while she makes her breakfast. Sophie tells her that she skipped one or two lectures and then she fell behind on work and it was harder to pick back up, so she skipped a couple more and before she knew it the whole thing had gotten out of control. Sally asks her why it happened in the first place and suggests she speak with her tutors about it. Just as Sophie comes round to the idea, she’s brought to halt by Sally’s mobile ringing. Sally gets caught up in the call and Sophie says she’s leaving for college. When Sally tries to get her to wait, Sophie tells her mum that she’s obviously not interested anyway, and walks out the door.

The call was from Sally’s new man, Jeff. With that going on in Sally’s life, Kevin and Random Rosie not living in the family home any longer, Sophie’s feeling lonely and ignored.

Sian later asks Sophie what her mum said, and Sophie tells her about talking to her tutors. Sian says that’s what she’d suggested, but Sophie didn’t want to hear it. She then says that her mum has asked her to go on holiday with her and her new boyfriend, and Sophie flies off the handle when she finds out if Sian agrees to go it’ll mean her leaving the following day. Sophie says that she can’t go because she needs Sian, but Sian looks in real need of a break from Sophie’s drama and selfishness. She tells Sophie that she’s not decided yet, but will have to soon.

Sian tells Sophie that she’s going to go on holiday with her mum. Sophie says that she’ll have plenty of other times to meet her mum’s new boyfriend but that she needs Sian right now. Sian then says that she needs a break, and says it’s not easy being surrounded by all her family drama and rows. She then points out that it’s only a holiday, and that she will be back.

Sally goes to sort out Random Rosie’s problems at her modelling agency, only to find that ‘Alfie’, is actually her new love interest... Jeff! I wonder what’ll happen when she sorts out Sophie’s college problems?!
