It’s been a while since the girls were on our screens, but the drama only continues to build between them with Sophie’s parents at war over selling the house. Sian is worried for Sophie, and doesn’t know how to act around her girlfriend while she’s in this mood.

4th February – Part 1
Sian comes into the living room to find Sophie sitting on the couch watching TV. She asks her girlfriend why she never returned her call, and checked if she got her message. Sophie talks over Sian’s questions, giving her a running commentary about the TV show she’s watching. Sian reaches for the remote and turns the show off, forcing Sophie to pay attention to her. She warns Sophie that if she misses any more of college she’ll get kicked out, but Sophie tells her that she’s living in a war zone with her personal problems. Sian tells her that she’s living in it too, but Sophie argues that the college can’t kick her out while she’s going through this at home. In disgust, Sian turns the TV back on and storms out.

4th February – Part 2
Sian comes back from college and finds Sophie making sandwiches in the kitchen. She asks Sophie why she didn’t come in for afternoon classes, and the two get in another row about her skipping classes. Just as Sophie storms upstairs, Sally comes home and asks if everything’s ok. Sophie says ‘yes’ and leaves. Sally asks Sian what they were arguing about and Sian tries to get out of answering, but Sally wants answers. Sian tells her that Sophie’s been bunking off college and not handing in assignments.

Later, Sally gently asks Sophie if it’s true about her missing college and falling behind on her work. Sophie flies off the handle and yells at Sian to come downstairs. When she appears, Sophie yells at her for telling her mum, but Sian says that she only did it because she didn’t want to watch her throw her life away. Just at that, Random Rosie enters the house in tears calling for her mum, and Sophie turns her back on Sian.

7th February – Part 1
Sophie’s still in a stinker of a mood with everyone, and everyone’s sick fed-up of it. Sally tells her that if she doesn’t get back to college she’ll end up working in a factory like her, and when Sophie doesn’t seem put off by the idea, Sally tells her to do what she wants. Sian tells Sophie that her mum’s really stressed, hoping that it’ll make Sophie back off a bit. Sophie eyeballs her girlfriend and replies: “Yeah, and whose fault’s that, Sian?!”

Sian later finds Sophie at the bus stop, and walks up behind her to apologise. Sophie doesn’t care about the apology because she’s behind on work and has an assignment due that day, and only has a third completed. Sian suggests she talks to her tutor about it because that’s what they’re paid for, but Sophie doesn’t want them thinking she can’t do the work, so she snaps at Sian yet again.

7th February – Part 2
Sian makes Sophie tell her sister what happened at college. She’s been called in to see the principal because she’s falling so far behind in her work. Oh dear!

Seems like Sophie’s starting to go off the rails a bit, and not caring about what happens to her. Let’s hope that she gets out of this rut before she really goes off the rails. Although, this is soap land... of course something has to go far worse before it’ll get better. Tune in next week to find out just what happens to our little gay.
