Website of the Week: LetsBeOpen!

We might have started a new year but you can still count on eurOut to present the Website of the Week on Mondays.

This time we’ve chosen Dutch website LetsBeOpen!, and while it is written in Dutch you can count on Google’s web translation tool to deliver an understandable version in English.

LetsBeOpen! turns ten this year (2011) and the website was revamped only last month.

The About section tells us that former Big Brother winner and out bisexual Bianca Hagenbeek created this site, mainly as a result to the reactions to her openness about her sexuality.

LetsBeOpen! organizes events which are exclusive for members, they participated in GayPride 2010 with a pink Cupcake carousel, which you will have more opportunities to see in 2011, starting Tuesday March 8, the location has yet to be announced.

Next to that you can also sign up to add your addition to the blogs sections, simply browse existing blogs or articles and lots more.

Obvious target audience

I had a look, and immediately noticed the pictures: they all depict (high) femmes. There's nothing wrong with that, but what if you're an outdoorsy type (read: not as glam as the ladies in the pictures)? I take it it's their target audience? Not all bisexual ladies look like that.
