Here is your weekly overview of what happened in the world of European lesBian entertainment. We keep you up to date on all the latest events, movie releases, TV storylines and who did what to whom.

TV land

Norway

A new Norwegian TV series called Koselig med peis (Cosy with fireplace), which will debut on NRK1 in January, is set to feature a lesbian couple. Or more precisely, one of the main characters' mother has a new girlfriend.

UK/US

An extended trailer of the upcoming American version of Skins was released this week. It looks like there's going to be quite some lesbian storytelling. However, I can't help but feel this American version is so…well, American, and it being British was part of what made Skins so good.

Recaps

Can´t keep up with all the lesbian storylines on TV right now? Let us help you with our detailed recaps of Coronation Street, AETR and Verbotene Liebe.

Movies

Germany/France

A new German movie entitled Shahada will be released in France next month (and probably in most other European countries as well), about the struggle of queer or just modern Muslims living in Germany. One of the main male characters is gay, but I wasn't sure about the lesBian content. In the trailer we briefly see two women, but it looks like one of them is about to give birth. However, it could still mean they're involved.

Denmark

Our video of the week is a short movie from Denmark entitled A meeting, which is only 1,23 minutes long and definitely worth watching.

This short was first shown at the Copenhagen Gay & Lesbian film festival, who have changed their name to MIX Copenhagen: LGBT Film festival. how inclusive of them.

Books & Magazines

the Netherlands

Chebba magazine, a magazine for Amsterdam teenage girls, is having a special Pink edition of their magazine that will be released this month. The issue will include interviews with a number of queer Amsterdam girls from all walks of life. There will also be a special presentation on December 13 to celebrate the release, which will include a panel discussion with a number of celesbians.
