Verbotene Liebe recap: Miriam and Rebecca - The story so far

Miriam and Rebecca have been friends. They've gone through the world together and now they are about to face a new hurdle in their relationship: Sapphic love.

For your reading pleasure, we have decided to start recapping the storyline for you so sit back, relax and let me take you through the storyline so far.

October 29

Rebecca is dating Frederic and takes him to No Limits where Miriam works. As she orders for herself and her new sweetheart, Miriam snidely asks Frederic what he's doing here. Frederic tries to cover up and says he's working, causing Rebecca, as any good feminist, to balk. Miriam knows Frederic and, more importantly, she knows Frederic's wife from school. Ouch! Buh-bye Fredric!

Miriam tries to console Rebecca who is heartbroken now the guy she thought things could *finally* get serious with turned out to be a complete douche. Miriam relays that she's also single and has terrible luck with guys and the two agree that it's not their fault; guys just suck.

November 1

Rebecca is draped across her kitchen table, suffering from a heartache her maid has the perfect solution for; hot chocolate. Sebastian, Rebecca's brother, comes in with a wet shirt. He's been in a fight with Ansgar, because he's sleeping with his wife and they ended up in the pool. He's not sharing this information with his sister, though. Rebecca tells Sebastian about Frederic and he suggests lunch and a playful 'pool date' with the guy who broke his sister's heart.

November 19

Miriam and Rebecca are checking out guys together at No Limits, while Miriam should be working. The girls agree all guys in town are either taken (like married) or complete failures. As Miriam is off work in the afternoon, the two decide to visit a man-free zone: a wellness club. Yum!

The girls have enjoyed a great massage and are now floating in the pool where Rebecca asks Miriam to help her as her hair gets caught in the clip of her bathing suit. Rebecca's face says it all... or it may be my awesome screen cap prowess, you decide.
