This week eurOut features as website of the week that of LGBT friendly hotels website Rainbow selection.
Rainbow selection offers their LGBT visitors up to date information about LGBT friendly hotels from around the world. Just what you need when you are planning a trip, especially if you are travelling with a partner or to less tolerant cities in the world.

There's lots of options if you're planning to stay in one of the (Western) European countries, but also when going to the US, Australia or even Asia. I was surprised to find there's even on African country with gay friendly hotels, namely Mauritius. Although technically, it's not part of the main continent.
South America is not available from the website yet, but there's many options for Asia, including China, Japan, Vietnam and even Thailand. Even though there might be gay friendly hotels available, one still should get some information beforehand about the general (in)tolerant attitude of a country/city before going somewhere.
The website also let's you choose whether you're two women or two men travelling, which made me curious whether there's really a difference when choosing hotels. Are some hotels only gay friendly when it comes to two men or two women? I'm not sure, but if anyone knows please share.
What do you think of Rainbow selection? Do you think there's a need for these kind of websites or don't you care whether or not the hotel you're staying at is gay friendly? Let us know in the comments.

In my book, we need this kind of sites. And even this one, that only allows to select accommodation for couples helps the singles and tells them to better look for a different hotel, unless they want quietness :)
And the first thing that came to my head was, has Maxime written a book? Ah, I didn't know that.
Maybe I'm a bit litteral to day. :)
lol
(sorry for such an intelligent reply. Though if I should ever write a book, it would probably on the topic of dogs *g)
