Lip Service recap - Episode 5

Cat then rests her head on Sam’s shoulder and closes her eyes. Sam adjusts her cheek on Cat’s head to reassure her girlfriend.

Tess sits sadly at her dresser, looking in the mirror at her reddened eyes. A picture of her and Ed catches her eye and she seems to sadden further.

Sadie moves over to Frankie, while Frankie attacks some of the party food with a knife. Frankie moves over to kiss Sadie but is rejected. Sadie tells Frankie to stop, but like she was with Cat at her aunt’s funeral, Frankie doesn’t. Sadie tells her that it isn’t her she wants, but Frankie tells her it is tonight. Sadie gets up and leaves, while all Frankie can do is watch as yet another person walks out of her life.

Cat and Sam are back in bed and doing as one does in there. Cat then brushes Sam’s hair away from her face so that she can look into her girlfriend’s eyes and say those three words. The ones that when said by the right person can make the world melt away and leave only you and them and eternity stretched out before you: “I love you.” Then they seal their now joint declarations with a kiss.

Wow, what an episode?! What will happen in the concluding episode to the first series next week? Who will end up with whom? Will Frankie find out who she really is?
