It was mainly quiet on the Sophian front this week readers, but I promise what follows will keep you entertained for weeks...

September 20 - Part 1

Sian’s working in a kitchen when Sophie comes in carrying bags and has tears running down her face: they’ve been thrown out the room they’d been living in. The annoying guy that works with Sian asks if it’s because they’ve been having too many guys staying over and she tells him: “As if!” Sophie tells her girl that it’s because they were a week behind on rent: and they didn’t get their deposit back either. So they’re now homeless and broke: what now?

Well, annoying guy that works with Sian, who’s called Mikey, says they can sleep on his floor. Sophie isn’t too keen on the idea, but when Sian explains there’s about 10 other students all staying there, Sophie admits there’s safety in numbers and agrees, but only because Sian says it’s only for a night or two until they find somewhere else.

September 20 - Part 2

Sophian accompany Mikey to his place, where he starts bouncing on an old mattress out the front of the house to welcome them: so let’s just say if the front garden’s anything to go by, I’d not be running to examine the bathroom for cleanliness anytime soon!

The house smells like weed and Sophian is put off straight away, but Sian sees it purely as a place to stay until they find something else. Mikey shows Sophian to their 'bedroom' (a.k.a. a gap on the floor of a storage room, but that’s just a guess). Sian is glad to have a place to stay, but Sophie isn’t too impressed.

Sophie: Be honest, was home worse than this?
Sian: Er, yes.
Sophie: Be honest!
Sian: Alright well, I had a bed at home.
Sophie: Erh, yeah: a bed, hot water, a bath without a flaming tree growing out the middle of it!
Sian: I didn’t have you though, did I? And I never will if I go back now, because my dad’ll put me under house arrest until I’m old enough to get my pension.

Sian pulls her girl in close to reassure her that things will work out for them.

Sophie agrees that as bad as things are in their current place, it’s better to be there and have Sian than to be home and not have her.

Well, stay tuned to find out what happens next for our little lesBians...
