GFEST is an annual festival first held in 2007 and is organised by Wise Thoughts, an arts charity that "delivers services to help address social justice issues and needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities".
