Music

the Netherlands

Singer and actress Ellen ten Damme has been nominated for a Gouden Notekraker (Golden Nutcracker), an annual award by which fellow artists give musicians and actors some recognition. ten Damme received the nomination for the innovative ways in which she contributes to the live performance of music. You can vote for her here.

Germany

German singer/songwriter Katharina Franck has collaborated with Reinhardt Repkes' club of dead poets to compose a musical rendition of poems by Rainer Maria Rilke. The CD entitled Eine wunders Melodie is scheduled to be released in October.

UK

Singer/songwriter Katie Marie is currently busy with her European tour. Tonight you can catch her live in Stuttgart, Germany after which she will perform all over the UK between August and October. Get the exact dates and places on her website.

Another singer who's busy with an upcoming European tour is Sam Fox, which will include performing on a Swedish gay cruise in November.

France
