The week wouldn’t be complete without eurOut giving you the latest news about the events at this year’s Gay Games (July 31 – August 7) in Cologne.

This time, though, we cooked up something very for special for you. We know from experience how important books are to lesBians and who of you has not yet participated in the endless 'what is lesbian literature' discussion? Come and join us for a Lesbian Author’s Reading every weekday of the Gay Games (Monday – Friday) hosted by eurOut.

The readings will take place in the afternoons, starting times vary from 3 pm - 5 pm. Specific details will be announced later, and look out for an article on eurOut which will bring you profiles of the invited authors.

That’s about it…… no wait, what if we told you where to meet La McManus?

Yes, that’s right, we invite you to a Meet & Greet with the driving forces behind some of today’s most important lesbian media sites: a joined Meet & Greet by and with AfterEllen, eurOut and One More Lesbian. With lesbian media power bundled in one place, please join us for an afternoon with music, drinks, chats and women and meet Bridget McManus!

When: Wednesday, August 4, at 3 pm for the Meet & Greet.

Where: Come to the eurOut booth at the WomenPlace. We will be there throughout the duration of the Games and you are welcome to stop by and pick up information material, chat with us or say a quick hello on your way to meet someone or simply have something to eat and drink.

You can find the WomenPlace at one end of the Gay Games Village, at the Neumarkt, which is an open place used for all kinds of festivities. (Visit the site of public transports Cologne if you want to get a feeling of distances.)

See you there?

I would but - I assume like most people - I have to work on a weekday at 3 pm. Maybe there was no other time possible but that is a stupid time. Have fun all you freelancers and unemployed people and whoever is on summer vacation...
