Here's your weekly round-up of everything that happened and will be happening across Europe in the lesBian entertainment world, from TV to sports, and from events to headlines.

Music

UK

Goldfrapp announce they are going to tour in November, which will be their first UK tour in over two years. It is to help launch their new album Head First. They are also releasing a new single, Believer on September 6th.

TV land

France

LesBian love is blossoming between the characters of Daphné and Manon on teen show Coeur Océan (‘Ocean Heart’). Daphné (Caroline Guérin) is with Melvin (Simon Ehrlacher), but is starting to have more-than-friendly-feelings for Manon (Jeanne Favre)... to the point that they kiss.

Norway

Linda Eide, the host of TV show Attraksjon (‘Attraction’), talks about summer in an interview with Gaysir. She describes her perfect summer day as: “Eat a good breakfast, cycle, eat lunch, cycle continues, eat dinner with lots of wine, and at last a night bath. Eat, drink and swim, when the day is finished.” Sounds like an ideal day to me too.

Spain

Things are finally moving forward on Amar en Tiempos Revueltos: Ana and Teresa made love and talked about their feelings for each other. Stay tuned for Chantal’s recaps for more details on what happened, and in the meantime you can watch a clip with subtitles in English here (you sometimes need to hover over the video with your cursor to see the Subtitles button). OK, upon reading that a certain soap actress has posed as a butch stereotype for a charity photo shoot. "She wears leather, studs... and heels?" That had me crack up so hard, I almost had Diet Dr. Pepper shoot through my nose.

It's butched up, but not even close to a butch stereotype. Aside from the heels, I don't think any butches would wear the studded bracelets. And she should have cut those fingernails - or remove the acryllic if she wears those.

Anyway, nice try, and I think it's good she uses her celebrity status to support an LGBT cause.

yeh, I know what you mean, even if they'd said it was glam-butch or confused-rockk-lipstick-butch then it could have been maybe 1% more believable, but I wouldn't have said by looking at that picture that it was obviously a butch stereotypical image.

I whole-heartedly agree with the exposure though, and the other British celebrities taking part in it sound good too, its one exhibition I think that could be far more than the usual "publicity stunt".
