WomenPlace: The place to be at the Gay Games

We have entered the Month of the Gay Games and that means that you’ll get more and more information on it from us in the coming weeks.

Today we’ll tell you about one of the most important places to remember for those visiting the Gay Games from the 31st of July to the 8^th of August: the WomenPlace.

So, what is the WomenPlace? We have asked Daniela Zysk, organizer of the WomenPlace, to explain it to us:

“The WomenPlace is the official information/meeting/party place for all women during the Gay Games. It’s a big event tent for 200 people on the Village Neumarkt (in the middle of the city).

You can drink, eat, relax, flirt and enjoy a good party in the evening with various DJs. We will have cocktail evenings and readings during the day.

We are open the entire day until very late into the night from the 30th of July to the 8th of August. There will be lots of special surprises and it will be the place to be for all the athletes, visitors and artists. Boys are also very welcome.”

eurOut will be at the WomenPlace as well, with a booth. We’ll also host a very interesting event which you do not want to miss! You will hear more about it in the coming weeks. So where can you find the WomenPlace? As Daniela Zysk said: it’s located on the Neumarkt in the centre of Cologne. You can get there by any means of public transport and you can walk there as well from most of the other important locations, including several other market squares in the vicinity where events are held.
