British band Kenelis release new single Sick and tour the UK's Pride events

Last summer we profiled the awesome alternative rock band Kenelis, and now they’re back with a new single, new tour dates… and an awesome new offer for all their fans!

Through-out the summer, the band will be touring several Pride events and festivals across the UK from May through to September:

The tour accompanies the release of their new single Sick. As music and bands go, I have to admit it’s not a genre I’ve paid much attention to, but I must say, the songs I’ve heard by the band are actually making me change my mind and prick up my ears to listen. Having previously only heard Nobody Sees Me (But You), I was actually looking forward to hearing Sick: and they didn’t disappoint.

The verses are filled with emotion and you can’t help but hear the anger in the chorus, but the lyrics are where the true emotion can be found:

Where did you go wrong? You don’t know me at all. I’m not very well, I’m too sick to talk. Ripped and shredded run me over, I feel nothing I’m a loner, in a world that’s full of sick, like you!

Yes, true, they are dark, but trust me when I say this: the track is awesome! Don’t believe me? Well, first of all I’m hurt that you’d call me a liar as I’ve never let you down before, and second, you can make up your own mind by going to their website and listening to it yourself.
