Here's another round-up of your weekly European lesBian entertainment news. This week was all about fighting boredom, headless women and winning awards.

Music

Germany

Steffi List

Singer Steffi List has a new album out entitled Trips, which will be released on March 25. If that isn't enough for you, she's also one of the performances you can catch live at L-Beach in April.

Also, check out our latest portrait on singer and actress Maren Kroymann.

UK

Leona Lewis' latest video I Got You features a lesBian couple kissing. They are part of a number of couples that can be seen in the video. Check out the song here.

Skunk Anansie announced new European tour dates this week. They will be playing the Hurricane and Southside festival in Germany in June and you can also catch them live with their own concert in Rome, Italy, in July. You can find more details on their website.

Meanwhile, Greymatter are busy in the studio right now recording their third album. Find out more about it on their Facebook page.

Sports

Norway

The Winter Olympics are still going strong (or I assume they are. Did I mention I don't really watch sports?). Unfortunately, we have lost one of the few out sports women competing. Vibeke Skofterud was injured and had to pull out of the competition and things are not looking too good for her for the remainder of the Olympics.

Gro Hammerseng and Katja Nyberg

Two other out Norwegian athletes that are doing much better are Gro Hammerseng and Katja Nyberg, who have just signed a two-year-contract with handball team Larvik.

Fellow handball lesBian Anja Edin cannot complain either, as her team just made it to the quarter finals.

I also heard Los Hombres de Paco is back, but seeing how horrible it ended last season there's no way I'll be recapping that show again.

Haha, it makes me laugh hard. In first episode Pepa got her revenge little bit fast (for LHPD in general), there was some eew bed scene with a mafia member and Pepa too and it seems to me they are trying to attract audience attention by increased portion of nudity, so I guess it's a good choice of yours after all, lol.

Thank you for an another bunch of news, Natazzz, I always look forward to read them!

--- not sold on the LHDP revamp, suddenly turning it into "CSI meets Twilight Zone and try to keep the comedy, too" isn't working for me. Quick revenges... boo. But obviously, I still care enough to read recaps. And interview bits where LS makes strange allusions to the fate of one Silvia Castro.

On the other hand, that "move kisses recreated" (stumbled over it the other day when it was featured by El País) is really nice, with one lesbian stunt" kiss and not one, but two gay male kisses included.

I can't wait to see them playing in Norway again. I don't follow sports, but these girls are incredible when playing :-D

As for "Los Hombres de Paco", you don't need subtitles to understand that Silvia is taking a personal revenge against Pepa's killer...

I agree, Cath.

It looks like someone is going to do recaps of LHPD - http://pepsiuniversity.blogspot.com/2010/02/9x01-las-triquinuelas-del-mal-evils.html :)

I'm sorry for constant LHDPing :x.

From your comments I gather you still care what happens on LHDP. Like I said in the column, I won't be recapping it anymore, but if anything important (read: extra dramatic or weird) happens, I'll be sure to let everyone know about it.

yes, Natazzz - alert us if Silvia is coming back from the dead, which I don't exclude with the latest mystical trend the show has been taking. ;-)
