Website of the Week: Taint

This time we picked something slightly different for you as our Website of the Week.

We have chosen Taint, the website of the LGBT friendly social guild on the Proudmore server in World of Warcraft.

If that means absolutely nothing to you, like it did to me at first, let's see how they explain it on their website:

The Spreading Taint is a large Horde guild playing on the Proudmore server in World of Warcraft. Although we do raid, we are primarily a social guild who welcome gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, hets, queers, geeks, misfits, studs, siblings, friends, lovers, and others to join us for fun, in-game and out. No gnomes please! ;)

We are a proud part of the Rough Trade Gaming Community, which is now in its fifth year of great gaming, fun chat and friendship. We have over 3,000 active accounts in the guild, and we warmly welcome the full range of gamers, from 'this is my first ever MMOG' to hardcore, diehard game addicts.

So to most of you, this probably still means very little. But to those of you who enjoy playing online games, especially World of Warcraft fans, might appreciate this queer friendly social guild.

They are not just queer friendly, they also have lots of `events´ you might be interested in, like last year they had their own online pride parade (eurOut reported about it here).
