The film festival Skeive Filmer will take place in Oslo on June 19 until June 21. They will not only be showing some new LGBT movies, but also some great classics in honour of this year’s 30th anniversary of Stonewall.

The Netherlands

This year’s Mid Zomer Gracht festival, the gay cultural festival in the Netherlands, will take place in Utrecht June 19 until June 28. For ten days you can attend a number of exhibitions (photographs, sculptures, expressive art, paintings), sport activities (swimming, cycling, tennis), theatre, lectures, workshops and parties.

Do you enjoy going for walks, but do you wish your walking were a little gayer? Now you can enjoy hiking trips with other queer ladies all across the Netherlands, as the fourth Damespad (Ladies path) has just been “opened” in Limburg. The first official walk will take place on May 17.

De Roxy Jaren, a photo exhibition about what took place at the liberal Roxy club in Amsterdam during the eighties and nineties can be seen in Amsterdam June 18 until July 18.

we're safe to call the L-Beach event Europe's answer to the Dinah, they write in their booking document that they've been inspired by the "Dinah Shore Week".
i still don't know what to make of this, and just in case i could miss something important, i signed up to their newsletter ;)
They seem to be really serious about this event, if they really get all those artists signed they asked, this will one hell of a weekend.

...especially for the news on the Zinentiendo festival (I dig the dorky lettering code!) and the mention of "Leonera", which I had heard nothing about yet. After reading through the website, I'll definitely try to catch it in theaters. Thanks for putting me on to it!

Also, a lesbian entertainment and news week where the worst thing that happened is a well-performed knee surgery is definitely a good week in my book!
